Story
Fallout is a post-apocalyptic science fiction television series developed for Amazon Prime Video by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, based on the video game franchise of the same name. The series is set in the year 2063, 30 years after the Great War, a nuclear war that destroyed most of civilization. The story follows a group of survivors who emerge from underground vaults to a new world that is dangerous and unfamiliar. The first season of the series follows Vault Dweller 33 (Walton Goggins), a courier who is sent into the wasteland to find his missing father, Hank (Kurtwood Smith). Along the way, he encounters a number of other survivors, including Nick Valentine (Billy Crudup), a synth detective, Piper Wright (Piper Perabo), a journalist, and Cait (Indira Varma), a raider. The second season of the series follows the survivors as they try to rebuild their lives in the wasteland. They face new threats, including the Brotherhood of Steel, a militant group that seeks to control all technology, and the Institute, a mysterious organization that is experimenting on humans.
